December 8th be sure to catch Dust Galaxy w/ Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation over at 202 Market. Grammy winners, Thievery Corporation, is headlining. They are performing songs from their newest cd titled Versions, on which they cover songs from Norah Jones, the Doors, Sarah McLachlan, and original tracks as well. Their songs have also been featured on the soundtracks for Garden State and Vanilla Sky. (Thanks, Kaitie, for the tip.

Oh, I wish I hadn’t seen this post! I have to start paying more attention to what’s going on around here. Thievery Corporation is one of my favorites. They’ve been in constant rotation on my Rhapsody player. My boy loves Lebanese Blond. He thinks the opening of the song is a banjo, so he calls it “farmer music”.
Unfortunately, I already have tickets to see Monkey Fuzz that night. I know what you’re thinking: I could see Monkey Fuzz anytime. Trouble is, there is a whole group of us going, and I can’t derail the plans at this point. Rats!
